Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy sets out what Capital Plot collects from you, from the budget and style notes you give the AI agent, and from the mailbox you connect, what we do with it, and the control you keep over it. It applies to the Capital Plot website and the Capital Plot AI agent.

Capital Plot processes order related messages only. Messages that are not about an order are not surfaced to the software.
2. Information We Collect
Account details you give us: name, email address, mobile number and password. Budget and style notes you give the agent so it can build a custom cart. Mailbox content we process: the order related messages in the mailbox you connect, and the addresses, order numbers and item details inside them. Instructions you give us: the plain language requests you make about an order. Correspondence we generate: the messages the software drafts and sends on your instruction, and the replies received. Payment data: handled by our payment processor. We store a plan, a status and the last four digits of a card, never a full card number. Device and usage data: IP address, browser, operating system and the pages you visit on our site.
3. How We Use It
To build a custom cart from the budget and style notes you give. To identify the order related messages in your mailbox and understand what each one concerns. To draft and send correspondence to a retailer on the instruction you gave. To track the resulting thread and report its status to you. To operate your account, take payment for your plan and provide support. To detect abuse of the service and keep it secure.
4. SMS and Mobile Information
If you opt in to messages from Capital Plot, we use the mobile number you give us to send recurring automated account notification texts about your account and your service. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop, or HELP for help. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We share your mobile number with the messaging providers that deliver our texts, for the sole purpose of delivering them. Those providers are contractually barred from using it for anything else.
5. What we do not read and do not keep
Capital Plot processes order related messages only. Messages that are not about an order are not surfaced to the software, are not used to generate correspondence, and are not retained.
We never request, receive or store a login to a retailer account, and we do not read your mailbox for advertising purposes of any kind.
6. Who We Share Information With
Retailers you ask us to contact, and only the details needed to resolve the order in question. Service providers who run parts of the service for us: hosting, messaging delivery, payment processing, error monitoring and customer support tooling. Each is bound to use the data only to provide that service. Legal and safety: where we are required by law, a subpoena or a court order, or where disclosure is necessary to protect the rights or safety of a person. A business transfer: if the business is acquired or merged, subscriber data may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers or advertising networks.
7. How Long We Keep It
Order threads and the correspondence generated for them are kept for 18 months so that a return window or a warranty period can be referenced. When an account is closed, the mailbox connection is revoked immediately and the stored message content is deleted within 30 days.
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access inside Capital Plot is limited to staff whose role requires it and is logged. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise, but we treat a breach of subscriber data as the most serious failure this business can have and we will notify affected subscribers promptly if one occurs.
9. Your Choices and Rights
Access and correct: view and edit the information on your account at any time from your settings. Disconnect: revoke the mailbox connection at any time from your settings. Revocation is immediate. Delete: close your account and ask us to delete your data by emailing support@capitalplot.com. Export: request a copy of your data in a portable format. Messaging: opt out of texts by replying STOP, and opt out of marketing email by using the unsubscribe link. Service and billing email continues while your account is open. State privacy rights: residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states with a comprehensive privacy law may exercise the rights that law gives them by contacting us. We do not discriminate against a subscriber for exercising a right.
10. Children
The service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If we learn we have, we delete it.
11. Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and understand how the site is used. You can control cookies in your browser. Turning off essential cookies will stop parts of the site working.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy. The current version is always on this page, and where a change is material we will tell subscribers by email or by a notice in the software.
